Description

Set of 4 Rosenthal Large Pink Roses & Gold Iris Mold Dessert Plates C. 1897-1903 Set of 4 porcelain dessert plates in the Iris mold by Rosenthal. Decorated with large pink roses. With clouded gold gilding along the edge and to the handle. Some of the plates are marked on the bottom with a green crown above Iris Germany and some are marked with a crown above B.R.C. Iris Germany. Both marks were used by Bauer Rosenthal & Co between 1897-1903. This pattern is listed as R1443. These have a lot of wear to the gilding. One plate has a small flake to the back edge and a chip to the foot rim. No additional chips or cracks. Each measures approximately 7 3/4 inches wide. These are antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the pieces. DT BX
