Vintage Italian Ceramic Round Trinket Box Flower Hand Painted From Assisi. Cute trinket box hand painted in Assisi. It’s been decades since I’ve been to Assisi. I was in Italy with a school group that was studying the Voyage of Aeneid in Italy. We were given free time and I walked to this small village. St Francis was from here and I had always been interested in his story. It’s a beautiful place. I didn’t see any pottery being sold there on that day but this is very reminiscent of the items sold in the area. It’s a beautiful little box. Measurements: 4” diameter x 2.25” h
